My PC was sitting idle each time it happened; it's a Core 2 2.66Ghz with 2Gb RAM, so I don't think it's under-powered for SC7? I used to run SC 7 on a 1.6 Celeron with 1Gb RAM without these problems, and without the music files in question doing this, which is what makes me wonder if the music files are corrupt now.
