I'm desperately trying to get SC 7.0 to scan my music library. After a couple weeks, it still does nothing. Nada. Doesn't even try.
Here's a recap: Mandriva Linux 2008.0 SC 7.0 rpm --First I upgraded from 6.5 to 7.0 with no problem, but it wouldn't scan. I then installed a few more nightlies with the same result. --As a workaround, I added every song to a playlist and after it went through all the files I had library. (Scanning still didn't work, though; neither did embedded artwork but that's a different problem) --Then, I uninstalled 7.0, deleted Prefs, Cache, and CPAN folders and installed the latest rpm from scratch. Went through the setup wizard, and still nothing. --There is NO scanner.log file created, and NO obvious errors in the server.log. I turned on just about every Debug log, but that just created a confusing giant log file. At this point, what do I do... Contact support? File a bug report? Buy a Roku? (just kidding) I'm at my wit's end..
