I seem to be on the minor bug hunt this week. Ran into a couple issues yesterday. 1: If you have a TYER (year) tag in your MP3, and the tag contains no data, you seem to get random years (probably unitialized data) thrown into the tracks and therefore the year table in the database. Filed bug 6585 on this.
2: If you have an album with only one track, it appears to list under the albums view on the web as an album with no tracks. On the player, it's correct, but on the web, you see only the album header. You can do hit the "play all tracks" button and get it to play, but nothing on the single track in the album. I haven't found a bugzilla reference to this yet, and I'll file a bug if I can't. 3: Also finding some tracks from eMusic with wacky tags. Not quite sure what's happening, but somehow the tags are showing up as chinese characters on the display, and question marks (???? ??????? ???) in the web interface. Seems to affect all the tags. Perhaps the Latin1/utf8 bit is set wrong in the tag, although that doesn't make much sense (characters should be the same in the "ASCII" area of the map, the whole point of UTF8). I'm going to investigate more and try to figure what's up with the tags.
