Well, I don't think I like the change to this page. I didn't really have a problem with the enabled/disabled buttons, but I understand the issue. So, the checkbox approach is good, but I personally think the check box should be placed just to the left of the plugin name instead of across the ways to the right. It makes it clearer that the checkbox is how you enable or disable the plugin. At least I think so.
Also, I preferred the button for "settings" as opposed to the somewhat subtle underlined hyperlink. (This is all when using the default skin.)
