Thanks for the feedback. That's an odd one. I doubt it's the DOM Inspector 
alone, as as you say it's installed by default :-/. I'd rather think it's the 
mix with some of the others which causes trouble.

But you're not alone: I've had controversial reports regarding adblock and 
adblock+. Both have been reported causing problems, but in both cases switching 
to the other one fixed the issue...
