Done!
Validated my whole Flac library (6,656 tracks) overnight using a Core
Duo computer... not my SC7 PII Server. I configured MusicIP to ->
Analyze Priority: Normal, Processor Use: Maximum and Number of Threads:
2 in the General tab. I started the process at about 4:30 PM yesterday
and it was done by 9:00 AM this morning. It would have taken about 2 or
3 days in my SC7 PII Server. I keep my music library in a 1TB WD My Book
external drive which I can move from place to place when needed. In
order to validate and be able to transfer the cache file
(default.m3lib) to the SC7 I made sure that the Drive Letter and Path
to the library were the same in both machines. The Core Duo machine
runs Vista stores the cache file in
C:\Users\UserID\Appdata\Roaming\Musicip\MusicIP Mixer while the Win XP
server stores the cache file in C:\Documents and
Settings\Luis\Application Data\MusicIP\MusicIP Mixer. After copying the
validated cache file to my server... everything worked fine. I recommend
using replacement Interface for MusicIP (headless) from spicefly which I
find to be a lot better than the native headless interface.

Btw, even if I wanted, I could not archive the analysis in my flac
files. The option to archive is grayed out in MusicIP when the library
is marked "read-only". This happens if you have multiple artist tags.
MusicIP only supports a single artist tag for archiving.

I don't think this is currently possible, but it would be nice if one
could change the Mix characteristics (Genre, Style and Variety) for my
Playlists on the fly. Most times I like to be surprised, but sometimes
I'd like to keep the mix close to the seed. Correct me if I'm wrong,
but the SC needs to be restarted if these setting are changed in order
for them to take effect. This is a bit inconvenient. I also hope that
this MusicIP plugin or similar will work from the Controller when it
becomes available.
