Thanks for opening this thread. I've been experiencing the same crash and one at a time finding and fixing corrupt artwork. I am wondering though why a crash is the default behavior for scanner when it encounters an anomaly and whether it could just note an error in the log and continue to scan.
I don't remember 6.x doing this when it scanned the same artwork.
