Start > Settings > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services

See if there's a service named MySQL or SlimMySQL or SqueezeMySQL or
similar and whether its Startup Type is set to Automatic. The
installer actually tries to install its bundled MySQL as a service,
even if you're running SqueezeCenter as a user process. (Which never
made an ounce of sense to me when it could just as easily be run as a
user process started up by SC itself.)
