I think from memory that when you power up an SB3 it automatically
enters the network setup menu, I don't think you have to use the power
button to start it at all.

MuckleEck what you may not realise is that the SB3 is never actually
off. All pressing the power button (to turn it off) does is to ask the
server to display the power off screen saver on the SB3. The server
then knows to only respond to a limited set of buttons on the remote
(power, play, brightness).
