I have sucessfully installed / run slimserver 6.5.4 on my Win XP Pro SP2 machine. This is a fresh install, no Antivirus SW, logged on as Admin. I now installed squeezecenter 7.0 build 17725 on the same PC. The installation seemed to be o.k., but SC doesn´t find any files. It doesn`t matter whether I do a rescan or tell SC to wipe the DB. The scanner log always contains the following lines:
[08-02-28 00:23:07.9583] Slim::Utils::Scanner::scanDirectory (261) For files with extensions in: (?i-xsm:\.(?:ape|wma|wv|wav|wave|mp3|mp2|flc|flac|fla|m4a|mov|m4b|mp4|mp+|mpc|ogg|aif|aiff|lnk|cue)$) [08-02-28 00:23:10.7812] Slim::Utils::Scanner::scanDirectory (282) Didn't find any valid files in: [D:\flac] I have roughly 1.000 files in 170 directories under D:\flac. scanner.exe shows up for only a few seconds in the taskmanager and then disappears again. I have installed Sc 7.0 on an other machine sucessfully. What might be wrong here?
