I'd suggest that you take a careful look at the tags with a comprehensive tagging application. I'd guess that you have incorrect tags. One tag I'd look at is the ArtistSort or it might be ArtistSortOrder I'm not sure but it determines where the track appears it lets you have "John Miles" as "Miles, John" but retain the more friendly name in the displays.
