Judging by the other thread you started over the EXACT same issue, I'd say you may be alone, if not a rather small minority. I have no performance problems Athlon 64 X2 3600, dual core 3G ram and about 17k tracks. And this includes running 4 VM's and Mythtv (which may be recording up to 3 video streams at one time, plus one viewing). I'm sure you've been given plenty of tips already, so I won't bother to start all over again since there is another thread. I'm sure you've been asked to use the performance testing and that Triode has been on standby to offer tips on interpreting the results.
