thanks a bunch - sound is once again coming out running v36 and everything seems clean and hickup free
again, pardon my ignorance, but what is the xilinx chip? thinking that maybe there was an internal switching problem, I had tried switching back and forth between digital inputs and streaming before . . . but that didn't work.
