Dear All, I am sad I found this thread - sad because the issue at hand now applies to me.
What I had 24 hours ago: ------------------------ Perfectly well working system with - Mac OS X 10.5.3 (PPC) - SC7, nighly build as of 2 weeks ago - An automatic start-up/shut-down procedure working like a charm - SC7 starting up automatically when user logs in. What I have now: ----------------- - The above minus last step The SqueezeCenter behaves exactly like the first description in this thread. What happend? -------------- I did a "soft shutdown" of the system by holding in the Power Buttom of the Mac Mini. At the next restart - the SqueezeServer refused to start. When you press start, then it waits for approx. 60 seconds, then it goes back to being able to "press start". I will try the above, but as noted by others this is quite timeconsuming ... and I fear it will happen again at next power failure. A real solution would be preferrable.
