BUT I just moved my "SqueeseCenter" folder found in "application support" instead of deleting it. Then I * downloaded the latest official release, got it installed, verified that the server started as expected. * Stopped it and updated it to latest nightly release and verified that the server started as expected. * Stopped it, replaced the new "SqueezeCenter" folder in Application Support with the original one * Restarted the server - NO SUCCES! * Restarted the server again - SUCCES! Now all plugins and prefs seems to back to what they were before I did not reboot my Mac during the process. Conclusion: It's probably the Cache giving Mac-users a headache.
