I'd be intersted how to add a uuid too, so perhaps Mickey (if you're reading this) you might consider posting it publically... (or at least copying me in on your reply to radish).
When does the player need a uuid? I've just been away for four days and returned to find the player displaying the screen saver and not the invalid uuid message as I expected it to be.
