This should not be the case, the previous repeat setting is reset when  
you play something else.

I could see about doing this, but is it that useful?  You can't love/ 
ban a track after it has played since it has already been scrobbled.

There's no specific "Last.fm favorites", but you can add them to your  
standard list of favorites.
