FWIW, I regularly synchronize my SB3 (802.11g connected) and a Softsqueeze 3.7 instance that is running on my music server. This used to be terrible, but after the rollout of the the synchronization improvements some time back (was it 7.1 or 7.0?) this improved greatly. It now is quite good enough that if I stand in the kitchen, which is halfway between the system attached to the SB3 and the one fed by SS, I don't notice any synchronization issues. If others have synch issues with SS, maybe they have to do with differences in network latency or such.
