Sorry if I seem slow/dumb/whatever, but having ripped almost 800 CDs to WMA files this is the single most important "bug" for me (guess we all have one, though ;-) - I remember my feeling of disappointment having installed SS 5.x (do not remember the version exactly) and connected my brand new SB2 (just released) and no FWD/RWD was possible :-/ Then it was stated that this was because it was transcoded - some firmware patch following along with SS 6.3x (as far as I remember) changed the transcoded issue but not the scrolling issue. Having followed bug #571 this far I was a little bit concerned when it was renamed from "WMA files..." to "Transcoded files.." but regardless, I almost threw a party when the status was "Resolved". Apparently not - at elast not if the original name was retained :-(

I just need a firm answer on this one, because the alternative solution is for me to go to the basement, locate my boxes with CDs and start ripping again - a process that I do not remember as being the most fun part of my life, so I need to convince myself that it is absolutely necessary...
