No other wireless network in range. No other electrical apparatus either. Nothing changed in my environment. Rolled back to 7.2.1 - 23190 and all seems to be OK now. Thus for my system anyway (Vista Ultimate 64bit, 8GB ram) there is a buffering issue with FLACs that has been introduced into the software/firmware somewhere between 7.2.1 and 7.3 23686
