Is there any chance the net-udap could be made to run in a non-interactive mode? Here's what I'm thinking:
- Put all the parameters to set in a configuration file. - Put SBR in init mode. - Run net-udap in non-interactive mode. It runs the set command on all the parameters specified in the configuration file, then runs save_data and reset. Done. What would be even nicer would be to have net-udap set squeezecenter_address to the IP number of the platform it's running on. Then the user could run the program on the platform running squeezecenter to get the IP number set appropriately without having to know anything about the network configuration. This capability would nearly solve the DHCP problem, except that the user still has to connect an Ethernet cable to reconfigure the SBR. The program is great even without this capability. Thanks for writing it. -- jeffbarish ------------------------------------------------------------------------ jeffbarish's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17994 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=43722 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/beta
