The feedback from our beta testers is very valuable to our open
development process. The Logitech support team won't be able to help
you if are running a beta release, in this case the beta forum is the
best place to get assistance. I don't know what the situation is
regarding the warranty, but I will make enquiries here to find out
more.

The Controller firmware now has to pass a number of automated tests
before it is released to the beta community. This includes upgrade and
downgrade tests, to ensure both the networking and updater are working
correctly. Despite this, some problems like you have experienced can
sneak through. In case you do have problems with the latest beta
firmware it is always possible to revert to the previous version
installed by rebooting the Controller by pressing the volume up
button.

I think I fix for the problem you saw is now in SVN, and a new nightly
will be built shortly.

Thanks,
Richard
