I agree, a very bad answer. I think the support person you talked to
spoke incorrectly. Using beta software should not void warranty on the
product itself. Regardless, your question was only a hypothetical, as
your controller does not need replacing.

I've confirmed that the reboot problem is now fixed. r3348 has been
built and is now going through automated tests for qualification. Once
passed, it will replace r3330.
