Making the add/add.hold buttons do two things is bad, but doing it inconsistently is awful. Best not to make add change mode at all, but if you really think this is a good idea, you might as well make add and add.hold always add or never add when it is going to change mode. I know that pressing add whilst sitting on the Now Playing menu option clears the playlist. But now it also turns off playlist mode, whereas add.hold when browsing a song will turn off playlist mode but doesn't add the song - that's another inconsistency.
