Thanks Phil-- good, useful comments. So, to be clear, #5 is the _bug_, in that the feature is not working as designed. The rest of the discussion is design criticism. That's absolutely fair to bring up, but different. I investigated "#5", and found that I can reproduce it only with tracks but not albums/artists/etc items. Hopefully I'll have a fix for that yet this afternoon.
