OK, some more detail, when squeezeplay starts on the remote machine, it always starts at the 'reduced menu' (eg. no player selected) with a black background. I'm not sure if it's coincidence but black background was the wallpaper I was using with an earlier SVN release a few weeks back - I've tried deleting any trace of saved settings I can find (eg .squeezeplay) but I wondered if something is still lurking somewhere?
While I'm on the subject, I've just found that when I kill Squeezeplay (I can't quit on the remote machine due to the lack of the menu option - see above), if it was running in fullscreen mode when killed it leaves my X server in a low resolution, rendering MythTV unusable. I think this is partly due to my window manager - on the server I'm running KDE, and fullscreen mode blanks the screen, but leaves the squeezeplay window the same size, in the middle. On the MythTV remote system I don't need a feature rich window manager so I'm using EvilWM, and on this fullscreen mode seems to change the X server resolution to allow the squeezeplay window to fill the screen. I guess this might be a non-issue if the quit button was there, and allowed me to quit cleanly. Finally - have I missed details of the 'start in fullscreen mode' command line flag, or is it just not there yet? -- f948lan ------------------------------------------------------------------------ f948lan's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3961 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=56522 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/beta
