I'm working on a multiroom system where the SBR's are mounted together
with an amplifier in the ceiling to run a pair of ceiling speakers. I
wanted to manualy configure the SBR's so I know where they are on the
network at anytime. They have a hard wired ethernet connection back to
the switch. Having done a few Duet's now I find the whole configuration
process hit or miss and am supprised that squeezecenter based
configuration was not included from the outset. 

Anyway I have found Robin's Net-UDAP most useful. I'm not a whizz on
programming or software and thought it might help a few to detail some
of the settings and thier options. I did not find much on the web but
might not have seen the wood for the trees. This is what I have found
in relation to static addressing...
