Try downloading ActiveState Perl from 'HERE...' (http://www.activestate.com/Products/activeperl/index.mhtml)
Install it Double click on the "UDAP_Shell.pl" file which is a Perl script. You should then get a Perl command window with a "UDAP>" prompt. About the simplest setup you can use is wired/DHCP, following Felix's "Receiver setup procedure" near the bottom of the page 'HERE' (http://projects.robinbowes.com/Net-UDAP/trac), will get you there.
