I guess adding any info that you have to the bug comments will help them solve it sooner. At least it is listed as critical so hopefully it won't slip to the next release again. I do suspect it is connected with the controller going into sleep. Both times I had random reboots, the controller was sitting idle because I gotten distracted by something else. I'm not sure what the timeout is for entering sleep, but it's likely that's what it was trying to do.
