Another feature suggestion would be the possibility to set socks proxy for squeeze play.
I'm at work and have to connect through a socks proxy(ssh tunnel) to be able to connect to my SC. The only thing you can do from the gui from scratch is to select language and then an ip address to squeeze center. As i cannot select port number, I cannot do a direct mapping from the socks proxy to squeeze center either. mariowing;383158 Wrote: > You would have to open two ports on your home firewall, 9000 and 3483. > Read more details here: > http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/ConnectingRemotely > > But what I've been running with great success is a super-easy free VPN > solution. You must install the software on both your home > pc (the one that are running SqueezeCenter) and your work pc. -- joggs ------------------------------------------------------------------------ joggs's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=18947 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=53047 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/beta
