I'm debating whether to hold-out for the next major offical release, or goto tech support like you suggest. It's just that the duet used to work well - prior to the controller playback changes. My network hasn't changed, perhaps there's more interference from neighbors networks, but my boom works fine and running squeezeplay on my laptop is much more reliable. I had the controller sitting on my table next to my laptop and the controller would lose contact with my server constantly and with the network (at least according to the wireless indicator). Perhaps the controller networking is more sensitive to interference. I'll wait and see for a while ... thanks for the advice.
