I've noticed that often when I upgrade the Squeezecenter server software, it sends a firmware update to my SB3. I allow the SB3 to be updated by holding the brightness button down.
It occurs to me that perhaps my SBR wants to have its firmware updated, too. But I am not sure how to do this, since I use this marvelous tool for adding it to my network .... and don't have the official remote. Is there a way to trigger a firmware update on the SBR from the web interface of SC?
