Thanks Mnyb, This time I tried the 2 step approach and did the squeezecenter_address setting as a separate step and it worked !!
Now : I need to move the SBR to Wireless. I tried - go to init mode - set wireless parameters (ssid, wep pwd, wep_on=1, and finally interface=1 - save_data - reset (this might be a bad idea right?) maybe I should skip "reset" just do exit ?
