Since about 2-4 weeks I also have SqueezeCenter die with the message "perl interpreter failed" in the Windows event log. At the moment I am running Version: 7.3.3 - 25220 @ Sat Feb 28 03:05:34 PST 2009 but I have several times upgraded during the last weeks.
The SqueezeCenter dies sometimes during playback of local files in the library, sometimes when starting last.fm playback. I could not found any reproducable situation.
