During April and May I had almost no SC crash (only one) but since June crashes came back and now I have sometimes 4 crashes a day (I upgrade to the latest nightly sporadicly every few days).
And after having upgraded to the official 7.3.3 release (and further to the 7.3.4 nightlies) it got even worse since now SC is no longer starting automatically (which was no problem before). Deleting *pkd folders in my temp directory helps sometimes but not always. I even deinstalled my anti virus software (avira antivir) but it did not help. I then manually installed squeezecenter as windows server and now at least it starts again automatically but it crashes several times a day with the perl interpreter failed message. Is there anything I can do against that? I start thinking to switch from Windows to Ubuntu since I hope this may be more stable. Is that true and is there any way to import my SC and plugin settings when porting from Windows to Ubuntu? Any help would be really appreciated! -- dip ------------------------------------------------------------------------ dip's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=902 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=60721 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
