OK...now that I have a working/running 7.4 installed on my WHS, I am not ready to tackle this problem/issue :)
First - You are right Michael...a UNC path is valid to pointing to the appropriate share where the "iTunes Library.xml" file is located. We are good to go there... However, I found that my library had 0 artists, 0 albums, 0 playlists (you get the picture), even though it appeared that SC was successfully scanning 10s of thousands of track/files... What I figured out is that my xml file is pointing to a network mapped drive... And while this works great when I launch iTunes from my client, it doesn't work so well when the WHS SC is trying to locate files on a non-existent "M" drive... I tried to edit my xml file by replacing the drive designator with a UNC, but that failed miserably...nothing ended up showing up on my iTunes library at all...
