The issue with the panel not associating with the player (SB3) is fixed
in today's Windows build 28035.
Selecting to view Albums or Artists for the first time still takes a
little bit longer than I expected, but better than SQLite. When I click
to retrieve the same Album list "again" during the same Web UI session,
data which I believe should have been cached, it takes about the same
time. Unlike SQLite that populated the Album covers view one by one, the
MySQL pauses for a little while and delivers all the Album covers in
what "appears" to be one single step. (This is good)
I found some new messages (below) at the end of the server log after
the server starts up. Not sure what they're about except for the one
which appears to say that the filters for MusicMagic were not fetched.
MusicIP continues to fail to generate playlists with tracks that have
extended characters anywhere in the path/filename. I can use a track
with extended characters as a seed song and generate a MusicIP playlist,
but it won't include the seed song with the extended characters. Also
no subsequent tracks with extended characters are added to the playlist
even when seed has none. (See the MusicIP errors generated farther
down). As I said before this issue also affects SugarCube. This behavior
does not occur with build the MySQL build 26558 released prior to the
SQLite changes.
