I'm having similar trouble but in version: 7.3.3 - 27044 In addition, I'm finding that the rescan for "Look for new and changed music" does not fully complete.
It generally makes it through the directory scan and usually gets stuck on the Merge Various Artists scan. It's clear from the row of little squares that the scan is not even half complete yet SqueezeCenter is saying that the scan is complete. The few times it has made it past the Merge Various Artist scan, it is able to complete the other portions of the scan, yet it does not update the info that has been changed. Is this a known bug or is there a fix for this? Is it worth trying 7.4 even though others are reporting problems?
