In the case of this bug, Richard tells me that reverting to the last firmware is the thing to do.
The symptom Ole is seeing seems to be that his controller doesn't get past the Logitech logo now. This is different from the reboot loop. If you are in a reboot loop, please revert to your previous firmware. You can do this by: 1) Removing the battery or holding down the power button until the unit powers down. 2) Holding down the volume-up button "<)))" 3) While continuing to hold down the volume-up button, re-inserting the battery, or pressing the power button to turn the unit back on. 4) Letting go of the volume-up button when you see the 'Free your Music' display.
