The squeezeboxcenter install triggers a remove of squeezebox. Says
unmet dependencies. But the config files remain.

During startup, you must have/make an account on mysqueezecenter.com -
the server insists on it.

My controller also forced me to log into mysqueezecenter.com, which is
a PITA since you have to enter the ID and password with the scroll
wheel. This needs to be fixed. But see below.

Initially, I had trouble with the controller connecting and then with
the web UI. I suspect the server was very busy initially and not
responding, but I can't verify that.

Favorites disappear - apparently they aren't in favorites.opml in the
playlist directory? The fix is to import favorites.opml under the
favorites edit screen.

Presets disappear and you have to recreate them using the remote. Not
friendly, IMHO.

Controller UI has larger entries in lists - with less info on the
screen. IMHO, the old ones were big enough.

Controller UI has tiny fonts on some lines of now playing, which IMHO
are way to small.

Center button is weird - I've posted separately about that.

Linux (unix) warning. Your playlist entries are owned by
squeezecenter. You need to chown them to squeezeboxserver if you want
the server to be able to write them.

Linux (unix) recommendation. Add squeezeboxserver to the group that
you use for your music library so the server can for sure read your
files.

But overall - it does work. I think its time to move to it if you want
to influence the released product.
