I did a clean install, and then reinstalled my plugins. All seem to work. In 7.4, the plugin installer is under plugins, not advanced. And you have to turn on the extra plugins with a check box at the bottom. The retrobrowser applet doesn't install. I'd be surprised if it still works, but I didn't force it onto the controller to see.
