So this means that to me it would be consistent if: - The same thing happened when I pressed the right arrow on the remote independent if I directed it towards a Touch, Radio, Classic, Boom or Transporter - The same thing happened when I pressed the knob on a Radio or Boom The Controller is in-between because there is nothing else in the Squeezebox line that have a similar middle button, the most similar is probably the knob on the Boom/Radio. It's the touch interface on the Squeezebox Touch that's causing problems because right arrow on the IR-remote is interpreted by the user as selecting something and so is a touch on the screen. So here you have to decide if you want the different interfaces(touch and IR) towards the Squeezebox Touch to be consistent or if you like the IR remote buttons to be consistent compared to old Classic players. I'd personally have preferred if the IR remote buttons where consistent, but Logitech choosed consistency between the interfaces. As already said in this thread, I think the minimum solution is to at least make sure there is a consistent indication on all Squeezebox models so you at least know what's going to happen when you click "middle button", "knob", "right arrow" or touch the item. -- erland Erland Isaksson 'My homepage' (http://erland.isaksson.info) (Install my plugins through Extension Downloader) (Developer of 'TrackStat, SQLPlayList, DynamicPlayList, Custom Browse, Custom Scan, Custom Skip, Multi Library, Title Switcher and Database Query plugins' (http://wiki.erland.isaksson.info/index.php/Category:SlimServer)) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ erland's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3124 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=67826 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
