I only been to this forum since 2006 so I have to ask. Why is new and changed scan piggybacked on each other ?
I want a new scan and one changed scan ? ( I know that there is work in the 8.0 release with sqlite to get new stuff automatically ). I often use the bmf workaround. I seems like 98% of the new and changed scan is actually the "changed part" . And you are doing this every time you put new stuff in the library. Has anyone ever considered a separate "new" scan, it's a very desirable feature. Is it historically a hard to understand technical reasons for this ? I'm no programmer and now zilch on databases and how they are kept updated.
