2. that can be done hold "left" a little longer to get out the setup go setup > advanced > networking > Remote Libraries and add your library there This is also a great work around for us that have issues with the server never being recognized by any squeezeplay based device. It's available on the controller to and all other sp based players to. 1. old known issue sp has all kind of bugs regarding audio, on many OS it don't produce any audio at all (not even crappy internal speaker)a linux based OS have more problems than win in this case. You can bypass that by running the windows version on wine. Wine can be installed on MacOS too, hopefully wine folows system defaults. Squeezeplay has been a kind of eternal beta (it is a beta don't expect it to work), that never get enough attention to reach a finished product state, given limited resources I kind of get that. And what would the incitement for logitech be finish this ? can it be a mean to expose more users to the concept and sell more hardware ? or will it compete with their own hardware ? All kind of license issues is probably keeping some community programmers to step in and fix it ? Remember the software is free, the hardware brings the money. For listening on a PC i still use softsqueeze still, available post 7.4 as a plugin resurrected by some friendly forum member :-) . And SP as a kind of extra remote (as it produces no sound) -- Mnyb -------------------------------------------------------------------- No it can NOT be controlled with iTunes.... ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mnyb's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4143 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=70026 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
