1) Update to previous comments, it seems what it "says" are MPEG-4 files can't be played, but what it "says" are Apple Lossless can be played. I'm not sure why the non-playing files are "displayed" as MPEG-4 when they are definitely lossless - is there perhaps something wrong with the file tagging & therefore the wrong transcoder's being used ?
2) If faad has disappeared for some reason, where can I get it from & how do I install it on my ReadyNAS NV+ ?
