I've always used Firefox and have 3.6 installed currently. But I'm gradually moving toward using Chrome for everything. It's just a matter of getting used to things like bookmarks being stuck on the right side. I have Chrome 4.0 beta installed so that I can use extensions like Xmarks to keep bookmarks synched between FF and Chrome and another extension for window resizing. Overall, I love the faster speed of Chrome, but still miss the richer interface and customize ability of Firefox. As far as the Squeezebox Server web interface is concerned, I don't think any browser makes the experience any faster or slower. The web ui is just plain slow due to the mucked up back end implementation. Would be nice to see that fixed, in the same manner that Andy has put effort into optimizing queries for scanning and for SP based players, but I don't expect it to happen. I get the impression that the web ui is being deprecated to some degree. -- JJZolx Jim ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JJZolx's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=74339 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list beta@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
