So, over the last few days I've had real problems with my system just
pegging a cpu and not allowing squeezecenter access. I wiped my cache
folder and did a rescan with MySQL turned on, and it took 10 hours to
scan my FLAC collection (50,000+ tracks)...and then it started
'deleting removed playlists' and it was going to take even longer. So
I killed the scan, switched back to sqlite, and did a rescan. I'm
still waiting to see what happens with this, but the audio files took
only 20 minutes. But what on earth is 'Remove deleted playlists' ? I
have NO playlists in my library. In the log, it says 'Removing deleted
files', and then there's a line for each track in my library...what is
going on here?
Should I switch back to 7.5?
