In brief, I tried to update into 7.5.1, but it ran like a mess on my
computer. So I thought I'd try a complete uninstall followed by a
clean re-install. But I have run into a problem. I cannot uninstall
the SqueezeServer.

Not sure where this went south. In the past I've run 7.4.0, .1, .2,
.3, 7.5.0 and the latest, .1. Anyway, I tried to upgrade to the
aforementioned 7.5.1 from 7.5.0, but my sync and playback ran amok. So
I tried to step back to 7.5.0, but couldn't get the uninstall to work.

The symptom as seen on the task bar - the Squeeze Server icon just
loops on (shows) then off (doesn't show up), and then back on again.
This continues indefinitely. I can kill the process with the Task
Manager or a reboot, but it doesn't fix the uninstall issue when I try
it again. I loaded earlier versions (7.5.0, 7.4.3, 7.4.2) over the top
and ran the uninstall again, but came up with the same problem and
symptoms.

At this point I'm assuming I've got to pull it all off manually.
Suggestions for how to so, or other alternatives, would be appreciated.

Thx
