You are correct in pointing this out. But, the Acer WHS server box does
have a 64 bit atom processor so it has potential to be upgraded. But,
the sticky point is how to upgrade since it has no VGA and
mouse/keyboard connections to do the upgrade? Also, it is probably
unlikely that Acer will provide an upgrade path as they would much
rather sell you a new box.

With this in mind, I took it upon myself to gut a Shuttle K45 shoebox
pc I had gathering dust and slipped in a brand new Gigabyte D510 64 bit
atom based motherboard. This is a mini-itx board which fits perfectly. I
already had memory. I installed the current Vail beta on a spare hard
disc I had lying around and will purchase a couple of 2tb drives when
the final WHS 2 is released. This will be a very cheap upgrade path for
me.

So, yes, please add a Squeezebox Server for WHS 2 as time and resources
allow!

Thanks.
