eg. going back to the hypothetical bonus song by ABBA on the end of an album by Metallica; the track artist would be ABBA, and not include Metallica because Metallica didn't perform the song with ABBA. But may be considered an album by Metallica. I don't think anyone would want the song displayed as "Waterloo by Metallica & ABBA". If Metallica DID perform as a guest artist on Waterloo, then the track artists should include ABBA and Metallica. i.e. the artists to be displayed can be fully controlled if it only shows track artists, but there's no control if it always also includes album artists. At the moment, it's certainly inconsistently displayed across various UI's. Classic Squeezebox UI (and I think the Web UI until recently) got this right (in my opinion). When the Display Format contains "artist", it doesn't include any album artist.
